NOLAPS
Human Rights Delegation to Palestine, Summer 2004
Eight
New Orleans residents participated in the NOLAPS Human Rights
Delegation to Palestine this summer. Two of them, Adam and
Thomas, were denied entry to Israel based on their anti-occupation
political views.
Adam,
Thomas, and Jordan traveled to Palestine during the summer
of 2003 to participate in the International Solidarity Movement's
"Freedom Summer" campaign. They spent a month working
alongside Palestinians and other internationals in the struggle
against the Israeli occupation.
